Agree! This forum is a crazy place for people with interest in guns, airguns, blades, bikes, tools, leather, cameras, dogs, SUVs, camping / hiking, etc. etc. I actually checked out the price of Kshitij's lens last evening. I finally decided to wait for my retirement funds to mature!!

I did enjoy the privileges as an unmarried man. But that time has come to pass. Now everything from the length of my beard to the strings of my purse are under threat of being dictated by a force beyond my control

Brihaji,
The field of view at 500mm is pretty small. For him to have taken such a wide angle shot with a telephoto lens is very usual. Also the moon appears to be disproportionately large.
Not sure if the image highlights the photography or photoshop skills of the sender

I too feel its the result of some skillful photo-shopping
