I spoke to him. It seems like its performance has attracted G D SPORTS to sell the gun under their name. The GD Sports under lever is the same AIMCO 300....at least that what AIMCO says.

I prefer you to go for 0.177 , rather than 0.22, reason being , it is a low power gun and so it loves lighter pellets.
Pl.visit Gunsmithing sec.where you may find many threads about " tuning" , including mine.
If you follow them properly , it is a joy for ever.
Recently IHP has introduced Synthetic stock and synthetic breech seal , I am not too sure whether N25 has the same.

Basu Sir,

I got a chance to check IHP 25 model. For my physique, it feels too small for me. I am in a dilemma now. I am planning to go for a custom wooden stock for my Precihole Orion. I dont want the wooden stock provided by Precihole. I checked posts from Briha Sir realted to his Samurai. It is wonderful. I have to find a carpenter to do a custom stock with lesser weight and design provided by me. I am checking few options here in Chennai and Coimbatore for custom wooden stock. Any suggestions?

Other members, any experince on the same? Please advise.

Thanks
Santhosh

Dear santhozp,
If you want to have more then one gun , then it is good to have varied sizes and bores.
The speciality of N25 is its low weight and soft cocking coupled with good accuracy.
Precihole by birth a superior gun , no doubt about that..yet I would not recomend to go for further makeover.I am afraid , in the process it may lose its originality and superiority.

Thanks Basu Sir. Loosing the originality was always on my mind. You have confirmed. Definitely IHP 25 is a good gun just that it doesn't feel comfortable for my physique, like cheek resting on the stock etc. I want to take a look at SDB 25 also. Any idea on this?

Regards

To my knowledge...SDB does not have model 25 but they have model 27 apart from others.

If you are looking for a rifle that is a bit longer than the IHP 35 - I have an SDB 65 which comes with peep sight, is currently more powerful than my IHP 35 or Precihole Orion and is deadly accurate. But it is in 0.22

Lengthwise I am fine with Precihole or IHP 35. I am looking for a wooden stock based air rifle with weight not more than 3 kg. Basu Sir suggested IHP 25 but cheek resting issue was there for me. IHP 35 is a bit heavy. SDB 25 is around 3 kg but not sure about other aspects. I have to visit a dealer and evaluate the cheek resting etc for SDB 25. Any idea about SDB 25?

Basu Sir,
I am able to see SDB 25 model in kovibazzar.
