At the risk of sounding noob, are scopes allowed in shooting ranges?

You dont really need a scope to shoot 10m...ibalajis wrote:At the risk of sounding noob, are scopes allowed in shooting ranges?

The range i go to, no scopes, no .22, no high power .177. Not sure if rules are same everywhere.
Lock, Stock and Barrel.

Re: My own AR
Great improvement on the grouping. You need to train yourself under an experienced person to become an expert and I guess you have the passion. Precihole is an excellent rifle and Polaris is pretty powerful at 800fps. Though the range only recommends 600fps ones. Strictly no scopes allowed. Maintain proper dress code, follow the instructions by the coach.
First and foremost thing, you need to perfect your stance. I am 100% sure that you are using your natural stance. However, that is not going to help you perfect this art. Dry practice is more important than shooting pellets. There is lot more to this sport than to load the rifle and shoot.
All the best.

Re: My own AR
Understand I was practising with pistol targets. These were the results with proper rifle targets from 25ft using open sights..

Re: My own AR
I am planning to take the plunge into .22 and it seems that getting an imported AR is next to impossible. Any recommendation/advice from seniors?
