TC brother, the parents were pissed off with the media than the police, in this case. You know what all rubbish the vernacular dailies wrote in exaggeration. One English daily too gave a misleading analysis. Being a journo, you must be knowing how much disrepute it will bring to a person, when he is portrayed almost as a 'terrorist'. In this case, the boy is just a college student. And, I am unable to defend journalists when people, especially our fellow gun enthusiasts, shame them for writing rubbish. That prompted me to write this piece, despite being at the news desk. Thanks to you as well as all our IFG friends who gave their inputs.

Ebenezer, I completely understand and agree with every word you have written. Have seen piles of rubbish in the Press all my life. Can empathize with the people who suffered because of these fellas. Can't blame them for seeking relief and peace.

Hi all

I have recently ordered a M9A1 EBB Airsoft pistol through HK based online retailer. I am very much interested in target shooting/ plinking and aspire to join a rifle club which looks rather impossible. I have a bad feeling about this after going through all these posts and asked the retailer to hold the shipment. I wish to take some expert advice before going further.

I do feel for the boy who faced harrassment due to the ignorance of the so called 'experts' who don't know the difference between a real gun and a toy gun.
