Thank you, which oil do you recommend? I am sorry that am asking so many questionskshitij wrote:You might need some oil just to keep the surface of the action and barrel oiled for rust protection. To be honest, I have put little over 1000 pellets (5 tins) through my rifle and have not felt the need for any kind of maintenance. It shoots just as well as it did.

Re: My own AR
I use Gamo since i had it, but i guess ballistol is good too. Basically you just need to have a thin layer on the exposed metal parts to avoid very fine rusting due to sweat from our hands touching them.
Lock, Stock and Barrel.

Re: My own AR
At this stage , it is a good shooting.
I think elevation dial to be adjusted a bit.
I use 40 grade mobil to protect the gun from rusting.
I have cursed my guns many times without its fault where pellet was only responsible for inaccuracy.
Hope you do not make that mistake.

And here is how it went in the evening... Managed to aim better compared to previous attempts I think. One thing I must admit, I am falling in love with my rifle..

Nice going. Your groupings are getting visibly tighter. Keep it up. You may like to google up 'Artillery Hold' and Sight alighment/sight picture to improve your groups further.
Some learn by reading. A few by observation. The rest of 'em have to pee on the electric fence.
