MY INDIAN BSA 1982 MODEL
My one month old 30" barrel, Indian BSA 1982 model, bought for Rs. 12,500. It is really a lovely gun, though a little heavy. It seems to be an unused/ very less used gun as the bluing is perfect, not a spot of pitting in the barrel and absolutely no play in the barrel.
I had to use a light rubbing compound and a vigorous coat of wax polish. This process has brought out the markings and monograms beautifully. The photographs are attached.

Thanks CKKalyan,
I am beginning to fall in love with this gun. Fired about 150 rounds in this month, since I bought it. Love it more than my 30.06 also even though it was 10 times more expensive.
Regards

Nice gun! Happy shooting!
I think you missed a few zeros in the price?? INR 12,500 seems a tad too low!

Re: MY INDIAN BSA 1982 MODEL
Thank you guys for the appreciations, I really love it. Actually bought it for Rs. 12500 and the dealer had about 5 other Indian guns in stock and in the same price range. The imported ones were lighter but in the range of about Rs. 50000.
Now for my next guns (daughter's and wife's license, that I plan to apply for in the next couple of days and hope to get them within the next 20 days), I have found a dealer who has about 50 guns and I expect to get a better one at a lower cost or in the worst case, in the same price range.
Regards

My bad I thought this gun was bought years ago for Rs 12K ..its amazing price and agree with Capt post you got a real gun cheaper than imported air rifle..really recommend getting IOF 3006 rifle or 22 or 32 pistol/revolver next depending upon your needs Good luck

Re: MY INDIAN BSA 1982 MODEL
Thanks Ngrewal,
I have already bought a 30.06 IOF rifle and a .22 revolver along with this DBBL gun. But I have applied for permission to sell the .22 revolver to replace it with a .32 pistol.
