Dude, which knife are you holding in your avatar? It is a beautiful knife
That's a Muela from Wildcraft. . The largest one that they carry in some of their stores.
Most of their stores have smaller version of this knife..

Can you provide me the specification of this knife? How big is the blade? It looks like a good knife. Can you also post some of the images in this thread?

You do realize that the knife is not manufactured by Hibben knives?
According to the Hibben website:
PLEASE NOTE: United Cutlery products are not associated with Hibben Knives other than we licensed the designs to United Cutlery so they could manufacture replicas. Hibben Knives has no control over the manufacture, distribution or repair of United Cutlery products. Hibben Knives cannot repair or replace United Cutlery products. Please contact United Cutlery or your United Cutlery dealer directly for repairs of replacements. Hibben Knives makes and sells Gil Hibben handmade knives only.
That doesn't matter as far as the quality of the knife is good
That is true but the specific complaint (or wish) was that Gil Hibben should have used a higher quality steel.
My contention, which has nothing to do with the quality of the knife, was that Gil Hibben had not manufactured the knife.

That is my only concern, that they should have used a better steel. Except for the steel, the knife looks great.

It cost me 5100/-COD. But given the fact that knifeCentre will charge you somewhere between $32 and $43 for international shipping., or works out the same but with peace of mind n my cash doesn't leave my wallet till I see the product
Thanks! That 5100 INR knife seems to have disappeared. I waste (according to the better half) enough money on knives, but forty-seven thousand is a tad too much for a rather large folder, however "iconic" and "anniversary" it is!!
I normally buy a few knives from KC at a time, plus tag along with other Mumbai CMG members, so the 40-odd USD shipping is shared, more like 2-5 USD per blade. Right now, I have a Mora, a Buck 110, and a Kershaw in my shopping basket, waiting for more people to chip in with their wish lists!
Cheers!

Here's the link, Brother. 47,100 to be precise!!
https://www.cart2india.com/folding-tool ... 4299028946
There's another for 9.3 K, but don't like the design.
Ordering from KC this week or the next. Please mail me the links to your choices on PM. I'll pay on CC, and total INR bill on the card statement will be proportioned in the ratio of the USD value of the knives on the site. Sounds fair?
By the way, I stay in Mulund, we'll need to work out a method of getting the knives to you.......
Cheers!

It's a limited edition knife. .
Mine is a simple regular Buck 110 folder. .
Buck Knives - Yellowhorse Rising Wisdom Folding Hunter Lockback Knife with Custom Black Jett, Orange Spiny Oyster, & Turquoise Handles. I finally found it. It was listed under "power and hand tools", hiding among wrenches and ratchet drivers!
A few minutes on Excel later, I found that Knifecenter works out cheaper if you get 7-8 knives at one go.
Cheers!

Finally I got my knife today. It is a beautiful knife. But overall the knife is so blunt that, I tried to hit on myself. It is like a metal scale.
Since I am not a professional, so can someone tell me, where I ca get it razed sharp, without causing any scratch or loose the shine?

Congrats!
For sharpening, I am not an expert, but I haven't heard of any pro, at least in Mumbai. Most of us in the sharpie section of IFG DIY our sharpening. The local chhuri dhaarwalas using high-speed wheels, even those driven by the bicycle pedals, are likely to ruin the angle and the temper of the blade.
Cheers!
