Received the H&K instigator today which I had ordered via ebay from this same seller

It seems a genuine AUS-8 blade. . Says Taiwan and AUS-8 on the blade..

It came razor sharp right out of the box and I could shave hairs off of my arm

Still not sure if I should order the Boker MA2 as it says made in China

Can some veterans throw light on it?

I will think twice before buying anything off ebay india.... Boker, SW knock offs are very very common. The MA2s listed at 25USD at knife centre, adding shipping the price wiuld be substantial. Knife centres the safest bet.

Go to Heera Panna and see the knock offs on display. Very easily to get fooled unless you know ehat you are looking at.

@Anonymusneo: bro, firstly,Knifecenter is not a shop, its an online store. Moreover, either buy good, original brands or you can go and get yourself self-designed knives made

I too have a few of these cheap knives but once u have seen and used the quality ones, you won't feel like using the cheap ones. .

You may definitely continue to buy them for the looks though; as I do. . 8) 8)

Hello chaitanya,

This knife look pretty good for everyday carry, as I love to keep a knife which I can hang around my neck and it becomes a perfect neck knife for me.

Thanks for sharing

I do think that it is worth buying this neck knife or you can call it a fixed blade knife which is made from one metal piece because the quality does matter in these utility tools which makes them useful for a longer period of time without any decay.

Dear sir, they will look much better if you go paracord on them!! Coloured shoelaces work too! Just a suggestion (naked knives are nice but they need dressing too!) :)
