Congrats Moulindu,
Personally I think the TX is the best production springer in the world right now and only comes second to the pro-sport in the looks department. Enjoy your acquisition. It will serve several generations.

Thanx a lot Brihaji, after setting the camera on record mode ran to the AR (which was cocked). I guess thats why the elevated heart rate & wobble in the first shot.

Thanx TC Da, I was inspired while browsing in one of the posts by Mundaire regarding his Prosport (i guess). then I did some digging & found out about TX. Prosport was my fist choice but they dont have in left hand stock, so settled with MKIII.
HC model would have been a good option as well.

Thanks Basuda, this puja as promised you, got into a new challenge "shooting nail @20yds" named this project NAIL BITER. After few practise rounds got this challenge completed. The main issue was maintaining the windage as the dia of the nails were really less & the crosshair was almost covering the target.

Next up will be Rajnikanth challenge  8) :D  . Wishing all the IFG members happy & prosperous Bijoy Dashami & Dusshera.

Hi Moilendu,
That was some pretty neat shooting. Looking forward to the Rajnikanth challenge.
Btw, how about a video, trying to hit half hammered nails on the head and driving them further into a board?

Hi

Thanks a lot Himanshu.

Well as promised earlier got the Rajnikanth stunt completed for you guys.
How it started
Long back, in a movie, there was an action scene where Rajnikanth was surrounded by villain & his associates & the villian fired at him. In counter attack he threw a knife so precisely that it cut the bullet in half & killed two of the bad guys.....well i laughed my @$$ off watching that scene. So thought of imitating the act but in my way....no one was hurt or killed though in my movie
So for all the Rajni fans here it goes

Dear Moulindu,
Valiant effort.......almost made it.....I wonder wheather or not 1st and 2nd shot very faintly touched the knife and then got embedded.
Pellet spliting is not too far away .......
Good luck will come any day .......

Moulindu let me give you an idea for another target that can look nice on a video. Light three candles (or more) and line them up and try and shoot out the flame. (I have tried this at shorter ranges). You have to hit exactly the tip of the wick. If you shoot higher nothing happens, and if too low the candle gets smashed.

Awesome idea and shooting!!!
I guess placing the camera at a better angle will show the same thing more dramatically, specially if you can slow the video down and actually show the pellet splitting! :D
hats off to you!!!
