Finally managed to find some time and take pictures. Here is are some from my collection;
2. Arunanchal 'Dao'- 28 cm X 5 mm blade, bone.wood.copper handle. Was a working knife before I bought it. A few dings and notches here and there. Have carried it a few times into the woods
3. A not very cheap Chinese knock off of a well known brand. 16.5 cm X 4 mm carbon steel blade, aluminium handle, full tang. Surpisingly well bananced and retains edge better than I expected. Of late it has become my go to knfe.
4. A Columbia USA sabre Knife. 14 cm X 6 mm steel blade. The handle is ebony and rosewood. Very heavy but handsome looking knife. Feels solid and reassuing in its heft.
5. A Chinese made folder. 7 cm blade. Bought just because it mimics the Columbia. Most people think of them as a pair. Never used.
6. Indian made folder. 8 cm, sharp, stilleto type blade. Perhaps a copy of a French regional knife. Amazing little knife. My pocket knife.
7. Fengli switch blade. 9 cm blade. Seems to be a sturdy little knife. Have been carrying it most often now.
I have some more sitting in an unopened carton in basement. and several others spread in my three houses in India. The knife I carried while I was in para military I gave as a parting gift to a jawan from my unit. It was a 14 inch, horn handled mean looking slab of steel. Would love to post its pictures but it never occoured to me then that the thing should be photographed. Also have a damascus type collector's blade on order. Perhaps one day I will be able to post pictures of all my favourite blades.
1. Nepali Army Khukhri- 27 cms X 7 mm blade, wooden handle- a deco piece but I would not want to be on its downswing.BLADES

Re: BLADES
Good collection brother. The Dao looks pretty sturdy but the No. 3 seems better. It can be a knockoff but seems extremely handy.
