Also note that nowhere does it say that .22" calibre airguns cannot be imported as part of one's baggage.
Do you have any formal notification to the contrary because there now seem to be quite a few people who have doubts about what calibre of airgun can be imported as baggage.
Thanks.

The only notification on the import of air rifles is the one that everybody is aware of.Re. what can be imported in personal bagagge is something that is subject to the interpretation of the individual customs officerMack The Knife Bana";p="21965 wrote:penpusher,penpusher";p="21962 wrote:Thanks for the link.Helped to clear up some cobwebs.

Thanks. In other words there is no rule that says that .22" calibre airguns cannot be imported as baggage. Unless ofcourse you happen to be stupid enough to bring the air-rifle with a scope mounted onto it and then get shirty with Customs...penpusher";p="21967 wrote:Re. what can be imported in personal bagagge is something that is subject to the interpretation of the individual customs officer.
Inder, please take note and reconsider your decision to buy a laptop instead of an airgun.
