Buck Pathfinder 105 on sale pretty cheap

Post by Mark » Wed Aug 13, 2014 9:18 am

This place has Buck Pathfinders on sale for $8.00, and they also say they ship to India:

http://www.knife-depot.com/knife-283814.html

Another place on Amazon has them for a similar price, don't know about shipping though:

These are nice little sheath knives. I do not know why they are 1/4 of their usual price.

WoW :D
Awesome deal - Probably a bulk order would bring the shipping cost manageable!!!

And invite hefty customs duty instead :(
I just paid 27 % for bringing two different blades at a time for personal use. If you get six of the same kind they will take it as commercial export.

TC,

Well well...

Thank you for shopping with Knife Depot! I am very sorry, but knife order you placed can't be filled. We had a pricing issue last night and we can't honor the price quoted. I had to cancel your order and refund your payment. Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can help you further.

Sometimes when a deal seems too good to be true... IT IS :)

Did you ask him if this means that his company is not honorable?

The last time this happened to me was when we bought my Wife's Honda. We went to the dealer's lot and they were marking down prices. We found her car and it was marked about $200 less than the manual transmission unit a few cars down the row.

I asked a salesman who was putting up the pricing signs about it, and he blew me off with a lame excuse. I grabbed the sign off of the car and had my Wife stick it into her purse. (it had the car's VIN on it.)

I took the next day off from work and went down right away that next morning. We didn't get out until after 3pm. They made us wait forever. They didn't try to argue about it, tho. They had a very loud meeting of salesmen in one of the offices, but they did honor the price.

The same happened to the Mumbai CMG!!

I had a similar experience with Furniture Bazar where a wall unit which was supposed to be 56 K was entered 16 K in their ERP. Mr. Biyani proved to be more honourable than Knife Depot in that instance. I got a 40 K discount!!
Cheers!
