hi all cool members of IFG, my self sreenivas p kamath, from queen of arabian sea, cochin, (proper fortkochi).... i am a psychological counseler, trainer...... well i am shooter too, right from my 8th standard i got chance to use fire arms by enrolling myself in NCC & i love guns. later during my higher secondary and graduation time i again joined in senior division and attended many camps and firing trainings, and finally was selected to army training with 03 madras regiment where i had a great opportunity to fire LMG, 9mm carbine cmg, slr,303 and 2" mortar....... after those royal days i was missing those guns and glorious life. after a long time i am really feeling great and thankful to be a part of this forum. from sathya a member of this forum i got so many tips, guidance and help for purchasing my first air rifle, ihp 35 m .177. i request support from all members and wish all of you a great life full of joy and happiness and of course happy and safe shooting. (sorry for the delay in introducing myself)

Hi sreenivas
I was a NCC cadet too in my 8th and 9th from 33kar battalion. We both have been inspired into shooting in the same way :). I was able to attend 7 camps and was close to RDC but unfortunately it didn't happen. We were given 303 to shoot but LMG, insas only for disassembly and reassembly. Welcome to the forum and hope you won't miss those days anymore.

thank you all... @ abii : to shoot with insas, lmg, slr and carbine u have to be selected for regular army attachment, and you should be attached to any infantry battalion and the army camp where training will be provided should have a firing range and of course a good CO who encourages shooting and trains cadets as army soldiers. though rarely but army attachment cadets gets opportunity to use all all fire arms, depends on circumstances.... anyway great to join in ifg....
