Re: Question for Experienced IFG Members/Shooters
Mr Bond you will have to be more specific, what is the No of shot you used, number of pellet hit on a 12" target would vary as you increase the shot size & for a Shotgun the difference of range from 25-50 meters is the difference between a sure hit and a maybe.Hope this helps.PS there is a chart,do a Google search on patterns of shotguns in difference shot size,it is very helpful.

Re: Question for Experienced IFG Members/Shooters
An India IOF KF Special cartridge will hit just about 10 pellets in a 40 inch circle at 40 yards if the shooter was loaded with the common No. 1 shot which has a terrible pattern. A coke can may easily walk out of such a pattern with no 1 shot.
If it was No. 6 shot a rarity these days though some are available in Delhi these days at 40 yards about 180 pellets would be in the 40 inch circle
