PCP - Nitrogen versus Air

Post by Chandan22 » Sun Jul 06, 2014 9:25 pm

Hello,

I am trying to figure out if pure nitrogen can be used as a substitute for air in a pcp pistol, obviously at the rated pressure itself.
Since air is also 80% N2, and its an inert and safe gas, it seems logical to use it. Also, its availability is better.

Anyone tried this?

nitrogen is safe to use in Pcp airguns . compressed air such as "zero air" is safe to use in pcp as they are free from moisture . search fo zero air supplier in your location for safe air needed for pcp airguns other than nitrogen.
