My new possessions

Post by alameinite » Thu Jul 03, 2014 10:04 am

A Wakizashi and Damascus Push Dagger is what I bought yesterday from Khukriwala, Dehradun. For the price, I must say i got a good deal.

Beautiful blades. Did you make a visit or made an order over phone/online?
A knife makes me feel stronger, keeps my temper down and gives me the courage to fight for the right. If I am wrong, don't correct me...

I checked it online, discussed about details on phone and got it collected through a friend. Though you can also order on phone, payment to be made beforehand.

One thing about the Japanese blade, sharpening possible but damaging nickle plating

Well that's fare enough. I don't think they have an online catalog. Did they mail you the pics? If you don't mind, could you please share the knives offered to you?

Definitely, though its a smaller dagger. The bigger ones are between 2-3k each.

I saw a couple of daggers on collectors heritage site

Priced between 2K and 5.5K but no glamour in them

And the price seemed quite on higher side, I'm no expert on materials but all one piece of sharp metal priced at 5.5K just blew my mind

This shop Khukhriwala is also mainly in exports but the knives and short swords are a collector's envy
