The scope mounted is a swift gopher 4x 15 which mounts directly without any mounts/rings-looking for a similar replacement-any suggestions.the 10 round mags are plastic .average recorded MV was about 1075 fps on my chrony with IOF .22 ammo.any suggestions where i can get hollow point ammo for .22 LR subsonic range. the original steel mag is also shown.the rifle is shown mounted with a 10 rd plastic mag

Hello Andy,
Nice Brno! Did you try Himalayan Arms?
Regards

Ps: Are you in Doon?

Nice looking rifle, Pran.

The speed of sound in dry air, at sea level, is 1,125 ft/s, so you already have subsonic ammo. :)
Besides that, in my experience, .22LR hollow point ammo doesn't really expand much, especially on small game, so there is no real advantage to using it.

While surfing rimfirecentral a member told me that the vinatge of a BRNO rifle is shown not by the serial number but by the two digit number stamped on the left side of the receiver and barrel where they meet. Hence this makes my rifle a 1950 model 1 rifle-this should be helpful to BRNO owners
