Seventy years ago: D-Day

Post by xl_target » Sat Jun 07, 2014 3:04 am

Seventy years ago today, the Allied armies stormed the beaches of Normandy, setting in motion the defeat of the Nazis and the liberation of Europe.
The Google Cultural Institute (whatever that is), has prepared an exhibit consisting of documents, photos and videos that is sure to be of interest to fans of Military History and WW2.
