sporting clays in greater london with mundaire and shooter.

Post by shooter » Sat Jun 16, 2007 8:15 pm

two of my mates and i decided to have a boys day out. (mundaire and another friend not yet on the forum.)
went to A1 shooting groung at barnet in greater london. www.a1sg.co.uk.
were coached by the owner claudio. (he is also the coach for zorawar singh, the indian olympic shooter.)
It was good fun for all and an especially humbling experience for me as i missed most of the spoting birds.
nevertheless, the coaching was very good, laid my eye dominance fears to rest and i realised the number of mistakes i was making.
lot of unlearning to do; the learning will come much later.
mundaire as expected was proved to be a good shot: well done.
i look forward to shooting with more friends at the forum; looks like youre next vikram!
and grumpy you better be on the lookout as well.

Thank you Shooter for treating us to a lovely day out at the range! :) I must say Claudio is an excellent coach and in the 2 hours we spent with him I really got to learn a lot. He quickly pointed out and helped me correct the mistakes I was making during mounting - something that Mehul & Grumpy had earlier hinted at by looking at the snaps taken at the Rugby club - once the mount was ironed out the clays started disintegrating rapidly - never seen such instant results!!

All in all a real fun day! :D

Cheers!
