Today called saf authority regarding delivery date of mk4 revolver. As on previous conversations thy had said tht after march I wil get delivery date. Now thy r saying tht th mk4 is not yet ready so one need to wait for another 3months or so, tht too thy r not sure whether mk4 wil be ready or not by tht time. If tht was th case thn why thy r asking for application on net.

On you tube saw a video of "ordnance factory day" whr I saw a .32 revolver on display to public with swing out type wheel mechanism like iof .22 revolvers.itz not top break mechanism. Is it th mk4 or new steel body .22 revolver. Frm appreance it looks same as mk3 only with swing out wheel system. Do watch th video nd share ur comments

Saf has started th delivery of mk4...now thy r delivering to those who hav applied in th month of September nd October. .

I was supposed to get call letter on june but saf marketing guys say it is not available for delivery now. Even thy dnt know whn wil it be available. Thy further advice me to convert my application to mk3. If mk4 is not ready for delivery thn why this suckers r taking mk4 booking, Advertising on thr web. Even thy r not replying my mail queries. .not a single reply on mail. .im confused wht to do..my pp period already expired on 31st march. Any suggestions. .

At this point the best option would be to buy a used .22 or .32 mark three. Once IOF figures out how to copy the webley design and launches the mark 4 you can upgrade. I would really prefer if they don't try so hard at all. I and am sure many others would be willing to pay them the cost of the revolver as import duty if they would allow us to import one fire arm.

Mark 3 has a bad bad trigger dany bhai. Buy a used one for now and wait till they come out with a mark 4. Looks promising....

It seens all fellow members r busy in giving tips on how to shoot a handgun or showing off thr weapons or advertising a weapon for sell or giving experts comments. But no one really cares whn a fellow ifgian is in trouble. Is this wht I can expect like SAF.. No AUTHENTIC REPKY.. hmmmmnnnn

I just read all your post and can realize your problem. If they cannot provide mk4 then it means it is not ready for sale to the civilian market as the factory has advertised. Hang in there for a while and just have patience. These govt machinery works slow but it works perfect in the end. The factory might not be ready for sale of mk4 so the workers cannot give a feed back. If you want a weapon now then as farook advised, you can get a used iof.22 revolver or mk3. You can speak to a gunsmith that you need the weapon just for license and later you will sell it back to him. Off course he will have a price. Later when mk4 is available you can get it.

i believe there were similar plans for the launch of a 380 pistol as well. From reliable sources I do know a few pcs were made by GSF nothing really went into mass production. There is just no pressure on GSF to come up with better weapons.

As per discussion with saf marketing department, ram singh nd other tl agents I decided to convert my application to mk3. Today I posted an application asking for tht. Let's see wht happens.
