Brihaji,
That's not a muzzle brake but an accessory to cock the pistol. The Typhoon has a short barrel and the spring is so strong that without the cocking aid its very difficult to break the barrel all the way down. Its very common with air pistols with short barrels. Even my old Tommy made in the 70s has one.
