Prize announcement
Over the years I have amassed a decent collection of hunting and shooting magazines which I have found both entertaining and informative.
I wish to donate some for the poster of the month prize.
I wish to know what people think about the idea.
I do admit they are second-hand, read by me but are in good condition.
If the members feel it's OK, I would like to announce that I want to give them away for the prize for the "article of the month".
My only request or condition is that they be given for an article written on one of the following topics:
Hunting
Outdoors
Rifles
Shotguns
This is because these are not only the topics of my interest but the magazines would benefit people interested in these topics.

My sincere suggestion is that "The Prize be awarded to "Prashant Singh" for his invaluable contribution that cover Hunting & Outdoors

I too vote for Prashant provided I get at least one magazine on rifles if it is published in the 50s.essdee1972 wrote:My sincere suggestion is that "The Prize be awarded to "Prashant Singh" for his invaluable contribution that cover Hunting & Outdoors

No can do for two reasons:
1) these are Prashantsingh's magazines. He can have them when he wants. I am only holding them for him.
2) I wish to give them for a new post hopefully encouraging people to write new posts.

Shooter,
Very generous and kind of you to offer but we have come to expect nothing less than that from you. I do hope that this is incentive enough for the members to dust off their keyboards and start typing some juicy essays.
Best-
Vikram

Brilliant idea! I would go a step further.........why not digitize them and post them here for everyone to read? The originals can, of course, head to Prashant.

Shooter has already taken such good care of me on my trip to England last year. That I just can't ask for more.
Thank you everyone for being so thoughtful.
