Bangalore Air Soft
Hello,
1.Am Joshua from Bangalore. I'm pretty much new to this forum and shooting too. I'm really interested in getting an all/mostly metal gas/spring powered airsoft revolver as my first gun. Which am thinking to obtain by courier import route. I do not have any association/affiliation with any rifle clubs.
Comments, opinion, suggestions are very very welcome here.
2.Would also like to know if any IFGian in bangalore owns an airsoft revolver ? Could they allow me to check it out as well ?
Regards,
Joshua.

Hi Check out http://umarexusa.com/ for a range of airsoft revolvers and pistols. You need to be a member of a NRAI affiliated club in order to import a air gun. Please join the facebook page of ksra for more info. Importing from http://www.pyramydair.com is pretty convenient
Nothing has shaped the history more than a Gun

Hi Jashua,
I have a Gas Blow back pistol ( Beretta M92F) model recently imported. Mine is a BB gun, I mean which shoots ball bullets and not pellets.
If you are looking for BB guns then it little easy to import compared to pellet guns.
More over, if you want a gun which gives you good feeling and less expensive, you can go for precihole rifles which are really awesome. They are as good as the imported guns.
But if you are looking for guns which gives you the show and real gun feeling then you can go for air soft but they are not as accurate as pellet guns.
These are just suggestions:-)

No, I don't have in India. But I was a member in Aalborg rifle club Denmark and with that confidence I have imported the pistol.

Re: Bangalore Air Soft
No actually. Fortunately the pistol was sent in two packages. All the parts were dissembled in to small parts like spring, nuts, bolts, frame pieces etc.
I have spent one full night and a day assemble them. It was fun doing that and now I am a happy owner if the pistol.

Re: Bangalore Air Soft
Hi Jashua,
I have ordered it from Ehobbyasia.com. I have also ordered the gas from them and all together it coasted me around 17K. I have received the pistol in a month's time. But gas took almost two months. As you know I received the pistol in small minute parts and I have assembled them myself spending a sleepless night and a day. And then you test the pistol I had to wait for the gas.
We get this top gas or green gas even here in India but they are almost triple or 4 times the actual cost. And so I started importing them in bulk.
We also get C02 capsules here. And they are little cheaper compared to gas in India. Still if you import them, they will be much cheaper than the India market.
So recently I am planning to customize my Gas blow back pistol to Co2. Once I am successful, the pistol will be more powerful and also we can get the Co2 here.
I will let you know it works:-)
My personal suggestion is, gas blow backs are not as powerful as Co2 so go for Co2 guns. Airsoft guns are not as accurate as the airguns or gasram guns. I would suggest you to go for gasram guns ( I mean indian made rifles).
If you actually go through the forum, we cannot import .22cal air guns and we require at least membership for .177 and then the circus with the customs.
As of now, I am very happy with my Gas blow back. its accurate to my standard and in 10 to 15 feet distance. And once I am successful in customizing to Co2 then the performance improves atleast 30%. And then I am planning to buy a precihole scorpius ( which is nitro piston) Karbin ( short barrel). I just fell in love with that when I saw it in a store.
I think this precihole is coming up with even pistols ( I am not sure). If that is true then I will definitely have it in my collection:-)
I hope the above information would be helpful for you to decide. I also suggest you to go through the forum and take sufficient inputs from our seniors here.
All the best and I wish you good luck:-)
