Excellent poem. The entire rationale of self-dependence and independence is captured succinctly.
Thanks for the share.

The poets asks Draupadi to pick her weapons and protect herself for Krishna is not going to come to protect her. That she cannot expect the shameless lawmakers to protect her pride. In two sentences, that's the gist. If you want, I will do the full translation.

Re: RKBA for women poem (in Hindi)
Have tried to translate, not a great translation but should convey the gist:
Draupadi is the wife of the Pandava Princes (Yudhistar, Arjun, Bhim, Nakul & Sahdev). A scheme is hatched by their (the Pandava prince's) cousin the Kaurava Prince Dushashan & his maternal uncle Shakuni, they invite the Pandava Princes to a game of chance which they have rigged. The Pandavas end up loosing everything including their wife Draupadi. All of this is taking place in the court of Prince Dushashan's father the blind Kaurava King Dhritrashtra. Dushashan wishes to shame the Pandavas and Draupadi is called into court and he decides to strip her naked in front of the entire court. When they begin to strip off her robes, Govind (Lord Krishna) comes to her rescue and magically transforms her sari, so that - as much as they try to unwrap it, more cloth keeps on appearing thus keeping Draupadi clad.
For context one needs to know a bit about Indian epic the Mahabharat. Will try and put it in brief:O Draupadi arm yourself, Govind will not come (to your rescue)
In stead of henna decorate your hands by arming yourself with a sword,
You need to protect your honour on your own!
The Shakunis of this world lie in wait with their (nefarious) schemes,
The minds (of people) will be bribed/ bought out!
O Draupadi arm yourself, Govind will not come
Till when will you wait in hope, for help from the media, that has already been bribed/ bought out!
Who are you asking for protection? From the courtiers of Dushashan?!
The ones who are without honour/ shameless themselves,
How can you expect them to protect your honour?!
O Draupadi arm yourself, Govind will not come
Till yesterday the king was only blind, now he is deaf & dumb too,
They have muzzled the voice of the people, they also guard what the people (get to) hear!
You tell me these tears of yours,
Whom will they be seen by and whom will they tell their story to?
O Draupadi arm yourself, Govind will not come

Re: RKBA for women poem (in Hindi)
I love this, thanks for sharing. I have been gifting knives to female relatives and giving them basic lessons fir years. Dont cross there path when they are in a bad mood ever. I am a fierce knife fighter and have given the best to my counterpart. Going to email this to each one of them. I! Ish to start a website about knives and would take all the help and suggestions from my friends and moderators here. Just need a bit time to figure things out. Please give your support. I am not much of a writer and my posts are not the most productive ones. I promise to make a difference and will use this poetry on my front page on the website.
A knife makes me feel stronger, keeps my temper down and gives me the courage to fight for the right. If I am wrong, don't correct me...

Those are very powerful words, Abhijeet. Maybe, while the women listen to this advice to the modern-day Draupadis, we men can take a lesson from the Pandavas, and watch who we make agreements with, as there are so many agendas that are not friendly to our cause.

Mundaire while thanking you for sharing 'a very inspiring poem'....
I can't but help expressing my profound feeling... I got goose pimples while reading each line, especially...
"Ab Govinda Nahi Ayenge"...(Govinda / Krishna will not come to your rescue)
Very hard hitting & heart rendering!
