“It’s been more than a week since we registered the complaint but Asaram is roaming around freely. As long as he is free, we will be under pressure. They are trying to threaten us saying that we will lose our money and even our lives. They want us to withdraw the case at any cost. Tell me, if your daughter is raped, will you take money in return for her loss of honour? I can’t take the money. All I want is justice for my daughter. My wife and children are constantly crying. Both my daughter and wife are still in shock. We are ready to fight, but the police and the administration are all under pressure. If it were some ordinary man, would he be roaming free like him? Now he’s saying that Roshni is like his granddaughter. He is trying to break me. (Weeping bitterly) He shattered my belief, my faith…”
On Asaram’s criminal activities
“If the CBI conducts a probe, he will be exposed. Many girls go missing from the Chhindwara Ashram every year. Where do they go? They are sent to Asaram at different places. Young girls surround this man during his functions. Recently, 25 girls arrived at the ashram from Haridwar, of which 3 were selected. My daughter too must have been picked like this. Now I know why he always has young girls around him. Of these, the best are chosen and sent to different ashrams. I have come to know of other such instances. But the families of those girls do not come out in the open for fear of losing honour. Some people are afraid of him while others simply do not consider his acts objectionable. They are so blind in his devotion that they take his misconduct towards their wives and daughters as ‘Baba’s blessings’. What do I say about anyone else? If my wife and I had not been present there and seen our daughter in that condition, we would never have believed it. We would have belied our own daughter. He had cast such a spell on us that he was the only truth for us. But now we want to break the spell so that other children of the country can remain safe.”

The rot is much deeper than what is believed by some. The enemies of freedom and liberty(RKBA) are deeply entrenched in government. Everything is self explanatory about what is going on. Will these kind of people ever support RKBA?

People in the society are too lazy or busy with their own work to bother about the anything else. Unless individual fight for their rights and fulfill their social responsibility such things keep happening.

NOIDA: A Delhi-based woman was allegedly gang-raped and her male friend assaulted by two police constables and their three friends here on the outskirts of the national capital.
Four of the accused, including the two PAC constables, have been arrested for the incident that took place on Friday, and the police jeep used by them has also been seized, SP (city) Yogesh Singh said, adding that hunt is on to nab the fifth accused.
The 25-year-old had gone to meet her property dealer friend at his office in B-Block of Sector-105 area last night when the five men came in the jeep, assaulted him and raped the woman, Singh said.
The incident revived memories of the brutal December 16 gang-rape incident in the capital, and came to light on a day when a juvenile accused was held guilty for the brutal rape and murder of the 23-year-old paramedical student eight months ago, and sentenced to three years in jail by a court.
In the last night's incident, the accused also took away the victim's mobile phone and ATM card, which they used to buy fuel for their jeep, he said.
The woman, a resident of Old Shahadara in Delhi, said in her complaint that she had come to meet her friend.
"The woman said that between 7 and 8pm, five men, including the two PAC constables entered their room, overpowered her friend and then raped her," a police officer said.
"On getting information about the rape, police swung into action and arrested four of the accused. Two of them were identified as PAC head constable Banshi Ram Sharma and constable Subhash. Other two accused were Arun Kumar and Bunty, their friends. Their fifth accomplice Jeetu is on the run," the SP said.
PAC 49 battalion circle officer's jeep, which was used by the accused, has been seized, he said.
A case under sections 376 (rape), 392 (robbery), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 334 (voluntarily causing hurt on provocation) has been registered at Noida's Sector 39 police station, and further investigations are on in the case, police said.

It is all very sad when peoples hopes, dreams, and fantasies occlude the ability to admit reality. Calling evil good doesn't make it so, just as calling inanimate
objects evil (like guns) doesn't make it so.

Timmy, the sad part is people in my country have a very uncanny habit of worshiping false heroes, from Film Stars,Politicians,Baba's to name a few,we lack real heroes.

i would agree with you. for me a heroes are someone who gives up part or all of their life for a noble cause to help others. not a sport or film star who only works for themselves and earn stack of money are no heroes but sport or media stars only at the best.
we i believe need to define what a hero is.

Re: Here we go again! We go over and over the same old story
Nag,we dont have any shortage of people who have made the Supreme Scarifice for this nation, the only problem is they are remembered only on 15th of August/26 Jan ,or when the nations A** is on fire,Remember Kargil {Lost my elder brother there},that time you had everyone praising the Armed Forces, you had guys like Vikram Batra, remember the Attack on the Indian Parliament, guys with obsolete weapons did the job,26/11,NSG guys did a fantastic job, lost an upcoming, bright officer, where were the policy makers then the so called heroes, the ones whose B'days/Death Anniversaries are observed with obituaries in the newpapers { one who took a Bollywood Director with him to show him the damage caused to the Taj,the clarification offered later was that the director wanted to make a film on 26/11, GOI should have sent "MR B" at the time the attack was on,or the one who got Ramgarh ke Niwasis free from the misdeeds of Sh Gabbar Singh} ,their biggest achievement was corruption/making more money and finding ways to send it to Swiss/Caymen/Banks,you have Prime real estate in the Nations Capital reserved for monuments to their misdeeds of these Heroes.I believe,"A COUNTRY THAT DOES NOT RESPECT ITS HEROES,DOES NOT DESERVES HEROES".Earlier in families there was a tradition that one son will be sent to the Armed Forces in Regiments like Armoued,Guards,Gurkha's,Jat,Sikh.etc.etc,& the M S Branch would be swept with a Tsunami of applications of Parental Claim, now everyone wants either the ASC or the Ordinance corp. ,wonder why--? We have a Bureaucracy which cribs about giving any kind of decent living conditions to the Armed Forces,a Polity which only wants to make money on any equipment bought for the forces,so now enterprising guys in our Armed Forces have found out ways to make money, thats why you have shortage of TRUE HEROES,lets hope this is the lowest we go,cause i guess from the lowest, you can go up only .nagarifle wrote:Amit357
