Lovely Pics..You are one lucky person.. :D .I have been to so many National Park & sanctuaries so many times..Jim Corbett, Dudhwa, Betla, Hazaribagh, Dalma etc etc but only once I was lucky enough to see a wild cat (Tiger) in wild...that was way back in 2000 in Ranthambore... :oops:

After seeing the photos, I thought I should post these pictures that were shot on p our trip to the north. The Chinkara was filmed in Rajastan in the desert near Kishangarh and the Nilgai on the way to Bhathinda.

we had just 1/2 an hour to finish our last safari.when mr.Afsal (naturalist)asked me what i want to see a leapord or a tiger?i said a leapord.he asked the driver to stop and rest is what you all see.

a small correction,hope you don't mind.what you mentioned as painted stork is a purple heron.night heron is lesser cormorant.

It seems that your foray into the wilds of the Kabini was very rewarding :D
To spot a Tiger & Leopards perched on a tree is manna from heaven - wished the Leopard pics were a tad closer - but then the sight you saw is awesome :D
