Hello Guy's, Today i came across this artical and i thought i shear with all of you. This is other good news for all North American shooters because we are dealing with lack of ammo available the market in .223 Rem and 9 MM.I think this is really good step in to the right directions.
Here is artical.
Lumberton, NC, --(Ammoland.com)- The opening of Cape Fear Arsenal in Lumberton, NC, was just recently announced in May by Governor Pat McCrory, promising to bring 150 jobs to the area.
The company will invest more than $15.2 million over the next three years in ammunition-manufacturing related jobs, and is already on the fast track to production.
Cape Fear Arsenal will begin producing desperately-needed .223 Remington ammunition in July, and will begin selling it via commercial sales channels and an e-commerce application on their web site, http://cfarsenal.com/ in August.
The company expects to produce 2 million .223 cartridges/month. The cartridges will feature 62-grain FMJ bullets in factory-new brass cases.
Starting in January of 2014, the company intends to add capacity, manufacturing 115-grain FMJ and 127-grain JHP 9x19mm ammunition at a minimum production rate of 3 million rounds/month.
Cape Fear Armory will begin manufacturing their own brass and projectiles in-house at this time, and will have the capacity to supply other manufacturers with brass cartridge cases and bullets.
Considering the high demand for both .223 Remington and 9mm at this time, the company’s production will be a godsend to ammo-deprived shooters of these calibers.
The company intends to expand to other calibers as the market demands and the company can add production in 2014. http://www.cfarsenal.com
