Beretta M 92 FS
Hi All,
I am Anmol. I am new to this community. I am a 20 years old engineering student. However I have been shooting with my air rifle since last 3 years.
I want to buy a Beretta m 92FS air pistol. Is there any way you can help me get it. I have contacted a few local dealers and they claim a price of about 40K. However there are few websites like (http://relishsports.com/index.php?main_ ... cts_id=868 ) and ( http://www.airgunindia.com/shoponline/p ... cts_id=183) offer the same model at 16-18K.
Are these model fake or not made by Beretta? How do I assure it ?
Any other way of buying this model you can suggest?
I have contacted a few shooters lately and they have suggested me to buy Beretta PX4 Storm instead given my age, experience with air guns, cost etc
I really like the Beretta M 92FS but if they are saying I should go for PX4 Storm maybe I should consider it.
I would like to have your reviews on it.
Thanks for your time and patience.

Re: Beretta M 92 FS
There are several copies of the 92F design air pistols made by Daisy, Crosman, Umarex etc either licensed by Beretta or not. The pellet firing ones will generally be more accurate but less realistic as they are actually revolvers inside with a static slide that covers the cylinder. Then there are BB firing versions that have magazine inserted just like the real version and some even have reciprocating slides, these are called "Blow Back" pistols. Look at PyramydAir.com and other websites and then compare and decide as to price and features. I guess the same applies to PX4 Storm also, except there are AFAIK a lot fewer manufacturers of this design compared to the 92F.

Only Umarex' licensed Beretta air guns are the best. They are made in Japan. Buy it from Relish or Aditya innovations (airgun India.com), I know the guys personally, and they are the genuine fellas.

Hi Anmol! Did you buy that pistol? That's a very good one. Please Share your experience if you bought it.
By the way I came to see the same pistol in the site in the following link, with a comparatively less price ( even though from US ).
m.gunstar.co.uk/beretta-m92-m92-air-pistols-for-sale-in-/Air-Guns/513274
Kindly check it if you haven't bought the gun yet
With regards
Mahesh

If your looking at buy a realistic looking pistol you could choose among a HK P30 ( pellets and bbs ), Beretta px4 ( pellets and bbs ) and Walter PPks ( bbs only ) all made by umarex. While the first two have a rifled barrel the Walter is a smooth bore. If you could spend a little more like 17k opt for the HK. The best option would be to order from pyramid air directly. You need to be a member of your state or district level rifle association that needs to be recognized by NRAI. Imports of airguns is restricted to .177 only. A .22 cannot be imported. To avoid delays at customs please email these two links and a self attested photo copy of your rifle association membership card to pyramid air. The process would be a lot easier if they attached copies of these along with the shipment. Do buy pellgun oil as getting it in India is rather difficult.

This is a very well made, quality Co2 Pistol, mostly metal, similar weight as the real handgun. The picture above is of one I owned a few years ago .177 Pellet. Truly beautiful.
