Being in the top ten in any country is excellent, children will know your name.
Very well done and time to uncork the produce of the champagne district. ;-)

Dear Guruji, Brihaji & dev,

Thanks again! I tend to realize that my place in the top ten in revolver both in 25m & 50m was rather consolidated. Incidentally, in 2010, I was 7th in the 50m revolver and in 2011, I was ranked 6th in the 25m revolver :D . In 2012, I just did not qualify for the nationals :lol: . So, 2013 has brought back the confidence.

Now, FP, FP, FP, FP, FP, FP, FP, FP .... and FP only:D

Dev, did you contact bodhi for your stuff? Please reply back!

best regards

while shooting, can I place my left hand in between by lower back and hips? I tried several postures for my nsh, but i find it most comfortable while placing it on my lower back.

For me, I do not find any inconvenience so long as you are comfortable. I think that the fact of placing the hand backside will tend to sway the body balance towards the back (although very lightly). If your head tends to tilt towards the front side you will surely feel more comfortable with the non shooting hand on the lower backside. So, I will suggest that you get your head position verified by your coach over a long period of shooting.

[quote="airgun_novice"]Dear guruji/ upacharyaji/ Jitu/ Dev et al,

Another set of silly musings and Qs from me:

Q1. What is exactly a "surprise shot" ? How does *it* break ? How does one "continue" the shot after first pull since there is a positive obstruction after the first pull ends.

Q2. How does one avoid *anticipation* - Q2.1 of shot break ? Q2.2 of recoil ? Considering the two pulls that is...

Q3. A few moments after the shot during follow through, I find that the foresight has dipped slightly and I pull it up to re-align. Then the Q pops up - "To what end ? Elvis has exited the building." Incidentally, I found that I had registered this point before and Jitu also seems to have faced the same problem.

Q4. Immediately after the trigger break, I notice that foresight goes to the left and almost aligns with the left wall of the rear sight and I make a conscious effort to center it. But then once again the same Q - "Am I in Las Vegas ? How many Elvises do I see ?" :lol:

Q5. Any idea if increasing the terminal velocity is desirable due to reduction in lock time ? Would that increase the accuracy ? May be ... just may be ?

1. AGN should perfect his Hand & Eye coordination
2. Work on a 'steady hold' from the time of aiming, sight aligning, sustaining, trigger relasing & follow through.

The middle finger does a very important job too, and then of course there the "Vee". At 40 or 60 it all is agony interspersed with ecstasy... but then no one's sure what happens at 75. After all NR stops at 40 and ISSF at 60. ROTFL But then beyond 60, ISSF gives you another chance at the shots only if you show that you can outperform at 60 and keep standing in top 8. AGN,
