Just ensure it is a Spring gun rated scope as fantumfan has mentioned.
The early bird gets the worm, but the fact is, if the worm had woken up late, it would still be alive.

Methink you mean the Bushnell Elite range when you mean high end.dev wrote: Mack used to swear by the more high end Bushnell banner range..
The banners are lower end Bushnell offerings....cheap and not rated for springers

Lucky to get the scope with mounts & 4 tins of .177 Air Arms Diabolo Pellets with out any problem in Mumbai customs

It is the first generation Bushnell Legends, that I swore by for springers. The Bushnell Sportsman will also do duty on a springer without failing. Atleast the older ones did.
The Bushnell Banner (Japanese and Chinese) failed on springers. More so, the Chinese one.
I did not use the Elite on a springer.
