Hi Guys,
Finally i got a chance to fish..Had been to Galibore over this weekend to just try out some fishing...and well, caught a couple as well..The first one yesterday evening in the rain and one today morning...Of course both released back..
The river
Me waiting for the bite..
The First fish I have ever caught with a fishing rod..This I'll remember for a long time to come..worth the wait in the rain..actually under a boat
The second one this morning..
A great experience..and ofcourse ..hooked on for life
Cheers
Ranjeet

Ranjeet,
Excellent indeed! And beautiful pics!
Are you back in India on holiday or back in Germany already?
The question is because I would like to invite you to participate in our postal air rifle match.

With your brand new air rifle, please do think of taking part.
Cheers!

Great job Ranjeet.
Now post the tackle and lure too...Those are great bluefins. What was bait used? You seemed to have struck it lucky when several die hard anglers returned empty handed from galibore and croc rocks-as your ghillies might have told you.
Congrats and keep on doin it

Thanks Sanjay and Galibore its off Bangalore, about 65Km towards Tamil Nadu,
the place is really nice..only thing a lot of non-fishing types also come there...which is not bad, you'll have good company for the camp fire and some beer:)
Wish Mack The Knife had actually opened a tackle shop...i sure would be a very willing customer..BTW Mack The Knife..are any of your tackles for sale:)
Thanks Pran and Vikram and Abhijeet..got the 'bug' seeing all your pics..

Well for the tackle, well it was a borrowed one from the camp , i have a really tiny telescopic rod..couldn't use that..
Yeah I guess it was just beginner's luck to hook them..
The bait was Ragi with a lot of
hing, the guy there said
saunf, or
elaichi is really good as well
Will definately keep doing it

Ranjeet,
Without any penalties, I guess I'll still have the woirst score or close to it.

Just take part and do your best. I am sure it would turn out perfect.
Cheers!
