We are taking about the Android app for calculating velocity of pellets not about the F1-M1 Chrony

Dera najad,
Pratik had disputed about your FPE not FPS.
If you put proper pellet weight in your crono connect mobile,
then the FPS can go that much. Local pellets weigh arround
11-12 grains, if that be so ,the FPE would be less than 12.
So it does not contradict 12 FPE logic of IHP.

Hi guys
Atlast had opportunity to use Hasrshavardhan's chrono. The reading prior to tuning of IHP 35 (.22) was 520 (avg) & post tuning was 545 (avg). Lots of thanks to Harsh for helping me out. M not concerned about its velocity but enjoying its performance now.
Thanks

Thanks Moulindu...Its only 25 % of Tuning Done......Tuning is Slow work....Again one day we will sit together and we will pull down the trigger pressure..Transverse vibration,Piston Twang....and Vibration.....
Then you will feel that this is not IHP its something else.....

Today I used the Crono Connect Mobile Software in my daughter’s Samsung Galaxy Tab2.
Unlike earlier, when I did the same with my Samsung Galaxy android cell phone ,the datas were far from reality, this time all reports were near perfect.
I kept the sound sensitivity at just midway and tested on terrace.
The datas delivered by crono connect ,found to be 10 to 15 fps less than humanly calculated Audacity Software datas.
The average velocity with audacity --------528 FPS--------- at muzzle—547 fps
The average velocity wth Crono Connect—517 FPS
It is a very distance sensitive device and my distance was 29.75 fts.
Overall it is a nice Software to operate with.

Basu

Note: The stated datas of Cronoconnect are without headset of Tab 2

I downloaded and used Chrono connect. It is giving me approx 550 fps for my new IHP 35. But it is also giving me figures up to 590 fps for my old SDB 50 which I find difficult to believe because the SDB is visibly less powerful. Oh I think it is a good weapon and shows some variability in power. Any how - I will test again today.

Chrono connect for me needs to be set to have very high ambient noise levels. In one test the sound of me picking up two pellets from a box and dropping one back were recorded as a shot being fired at 1 meter per sec.

Dear bennedose,
readings of your guns remain within possible limit, depending upon the kind of pellets you use.
For instance, my N-25 delivering 632 fps with local pellet(4.5 to 5 grns). The same gun delivering 517 fps with MS flat head.
It it found to be imperitive to calculate the distance to nearest inches.

I repeated the tests carefully using my SDB 50. It is giving me 450 to 500 fps which fits in well with other assessments including Audacity software and target penetration capability (140 to 150 meters per sec)

Dear bennedose,
Your recently mentioned figure is more convincing.
Had you mentioned about the brand of pellet or weight of pellet,
that could be much more conclusive.

I found crono connect gives reliable datas if used in Samsung Tab 2 with headset than without headset.
The above datas were cross checked with Audacity.
Samsung android phone never able to deliver reliable datas at any change in place and noise adjustment, with and without headset.
