Thank you so much Brihaji
As far as I can understand the only merit she has seen in this session is that she too can now handle my weapons. And you are right about her expression. She has a lot of determination and is serious about everything she does.
And she was not posing for the camera. She was actually firing. Me and my entire family, cousins, uncles have always fired our firearms in these courtyards. The house is HUGE and EMPTY. It is like a fort. There are at least a dozen bullet traps of various sizes made of 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch thick industrial steel and kept at different locations. There are safe firing ranges with backstops of various lengths - starting from 10 metre to 50 metre
Even the pigeons and the cats don't react to the sound of gunfire. They have got used to sound pollution over generations.
Great to see her enjoying shooting.
With you to teach her safe gun use( like no fingers on triggers ) and to initiate her, i am sure she will love the sport!
Thanks Arjun,
Indeed I am lucky
But for how long ? That it a big question I am sure you have seen MR AND MRS SMITH

I particularly like the steely look in her eyes. Great going TC, also a very shrewd move, the next time she asks you to buy her gold jewellry, you can buy her a gun instead. This way both of you will be happy
Best Regards
Thanks hvj1,
Yes, that steely look often makes me nervous
But I am not sure how shrewd the move was.. going by the market, value of gold is coming down and guns shooting up Guess who will be happy !
Regards
TC

Dear TC,
I am amazed having seen the video.
Your wife shot the gun with such an ease which many husbands might not dare to.
Particularly for women,it is highly inspiring.
Hope she will continue to encourage women in future too.
I do not know any lady who loves to use fire arm and there she stands out.
By the way, is the colour of the sari chosen by you ?
That is a wonderful start! And she sure has a knack for it. The initially wobbly hands in the video were misleading...the moment she started shooting it was all steady and determined... Pass on our respects to her. Maybe there's a renowned shot it the making
Briha Ji, any weapon that has a chain linking two parts - The three piece staff, the morning star, the nun chucks etc are harmful to amateurs and extra effective in the hands of trained specialists. The reason - Controlling the swing of the second part requires more time to master than a short stick, a rolled up magazine or a water bottle.
In fact, a rolled up magazine or a short club will be more easy to carry as well. One whack with the butt end to the kidney and the perp will be withering in pain.
I would rather hit my target gently than miss hard.
You really did not waste any time after we swapped those text messages, now did you!!
More power to the better half & to you for initiating her into this most addictive of all hobbies! So which firearm does she want for herself now? Don't tell me it's one of your prized .22 cal handguns? Be hard saying no to her now - eh? Of course, now you have 3 more license slots to fill up, better start saving up buddy!
