New sling for my 22 cal side lever
Hi everyone,,,,
I had a belt (one used by cadets at NDA) lying with me past 20 yrs . It belonged to my brother, who gave it to me ,after he passed out from NDA.
I had forgotten about it .
Yesterday , while cleaning the store room, I found it, lying at one corner. And it was intact and perfect, with no signs of ageing.
I was about to throw it, but then decided to recycle it. I did nothing much ,just took out the suspenders or the buckle ( as in girl school shoes….. I don’t know if it is known by some other name too) from the previous sling and after a bit of plus and minus, I got a new sling for my 22 cal side lever.
I am still not sure if I have done it correctly or not, but I am admiring the new looks of my baby.
I would like to have opinions from fellow members.......
Regards

Great job. Looks quite nice, and those NDA belts are well nigh indestructible!
Cheers!
