Membership Necessary? How to Get

I am from a remote town, We don't have shooting clubs or Rifle associations here. I wish to import an air gun and pellets, However i read it is mandatory for Membership and a bonafide. I'm not exactly sure how can i get membership. Im from AP, Can i get membership just by sending the form and payment for permanent membership on RAAP, http://www.raap.co.in/

If not, getting an imported airgun is impossible for me? How much total cost expected for membership, purchase and import of considerably good air handgun.

I presume you already have one or more Indian air guns and are tired of them or they are inadequate for your competitive needs so you want to import?

Certainly not. U can join the NRAI. http://Www.thenrai.in.
Consider this as the last option though, cost is Rs. 24,000 for lifetime membership.

I Want shooting club membership in delhi or NCR to import an air rifle. Please suggest where I can have the membership. Please do let us know the term, conditions & fees. Regards/Harsh

as mentioned above by SS ...you may join NRAI. Details are available on the site http://www.thenrai.in You could choose between their annual membership or lifetime membership. Though even after applying it may take a couple of months or more for your membership to come through. I have applied also but only recently, hence if you have the patience & are prepared to shelve out the required membership fee...then I could guide you further.
