Tirpassion,
It seems Essdee has successfully sawed in the Moinisious instincts deep into your flesh....
Love all the blades but the Japanese ones stand out. Like you I too have a soft corner for blades that saw the first rays of the sun
Well, I am eagerly waiting for Master Opinel to arrive
Great collection bro. Make the best of your trips from now on.

PS: The blade bug has bitten me too... but that's another story for another time

I'll spray antibiotic / anti-virus / pest control on you, Moin. There are some excellent brands of the same made in Scotland. Funny names they have, Glenfiddich, Glenmorangie, Bowmore. I think for a "strong virus" like you, the single malt option will be best!!!
Cheers!
EssDee

INDIAN HIKONOGAMI....,
Tirpassion, TC, Moin, AGN, Briha Sir, Essdee, I just re-discovered these babies tonight. These are Indian Hikonogami ....actually no...they arent. But you must admit that they are really interesting. You will find these manufactured in Shillong and Nagaland and carried as EDC by almost everyone. Especially useful in making betel nut shavings. And I love the simplicity. These knives are really sharp and good utility blades. I actually carried them with me a few times camping as a back-up blade.
