Mack used to swear by the more high end Bushnell banner range.
It is the first generation Bushnell Legends, that I swore by for springers. The Bushnell Sportsman will also do duty on a springer without failing. Atleast the older ones did.

The Bushnell Banner (Japanese and Chinese) failed on springers.

The leapers scope will be fine. But if you want to go for quality try the springer rated Bushnell Sportsman 3x9x32 type. This is what I have had for some years. Mack used to swear by the more high end Bushnell banner range. Take a look and get one that suits you.

Thanks Briha Sir & Dev
As I already have 3-9x -40 AO Stoeger Scope I want the new scope with more magnification 12X or 16X for my future PCP till then I will use it on my Pegasus
Bushnell Sportsman 4-12 x 40 is a good option but does it have Mil-dot reticle
Does 50mm objective lens scope need high mount or medium mount

Hi Pratik,

> Bushnell Sportsman 4-12 x 40 is a good option but does it have Mil-dot reticule? - I am not sure about this - You may check if any other models come with this.

> Does 50mm objective lens scope need high mount or medium mount - YES, you do need a high mount as the front end of the scope dia will interfere with the barrel

hi
Does 50mm objective lens scope need high mount or medium mount - YES, you do need a high mount as the front end of the scope dia will interfere with the barrel :agree:

High mounts are used for scopes with 50mm objective lens or more
Medium mounts are used for scopes with 40mm objective lens or less

I have a spare Centerpoint 4-16x40 AO Mil Dot springer rated scope.
You can come over and check it out....

hi Pratik Ji
Any luck with the scope you mentioned earlier in your posts. My cousin brother is going to Tokyo & I am thinking of asking him to get me a scope. But my concern is the customs clearance. Though he will be bringing it as baggage, is there any chance of getting the scope seized by those white babus. Read few posts regarding importing of scope via personal luggage in this forum. But a clear perspective will be more than helpful. Looking forward for some replies.
