So while the claims made to the media about 25000 cartridges and 15 fire arms and unlimited ammo for renowned shots hasnt materialized, some progress has been made.

Not an amendment sire, it is a notification under Section 41 of the Arms Act. Will be posting my comments on page 5 onward of http://www.indiansforguns.com/viewtopic ... 7&start=60

BTW I doubt the NRAI will be crowing about this as an achievement as they have twisted NRAI's recommendations into a largely meaningless notification.

Correct, its a notification, not an ammendment.
