On their web site, why do not one of the Governing Body smile?
If they are not happy why do the job?

Just wondering Why does NRAI issue only iof ammo to normal members and reserves the imported ammo for the renowned shots.
Dont normal members have a right to train with good quality ammo?

Re: National Rifle Association of India - NRAI
Hullo folks,
I am a shooting enthusiast & was keen to become a life member of NRAI & I understand from their website that the membership form has to be signed by two existing members. I have been following the IFG fora for some time. I own a .32 Webley & 12 bore DBBL gun. Recently purchased an IHP .22 Air gun & wanted to purchase an imported airgun. I believe that in order to buy one, one needs to be a member of the NRAI. I am from the hills of North Bengal & Sikkim & since there are no rifle clubs here wanted help from 2 esteemed members to kindly volunteer to sign my membership form, for which I shall remain evergrateful.
Thanking you all in anticipation.

Thanks Anand for ur response. Cannot pm as the IFG site is returning the message -' this feature is not allowed', I guess due to my being inactive in terms of sending posts on the site.
Pl. advice further course of action.

Gentlemen...
Since its the season for asking... I'd like to request any two NRAI members to support me in my membership app too...
BTW, anyone has any idea whether DSRA and NRAI memberships are mutually exclusive or can be held simultaneously?
Regards,
~chandan

Hi Chandan,
If you can to enroll 5 members to NAGRI I will be happy to sign your application.
The nrai and dsrai are separate memberships and you can hold both of them if you like. Benefits are different for each.
Cheers,SS

Hi SS,
I sent in my app for NAGRI months and months ago, also called and had a conversation, but am yet to hear back. The website is not updated either. So while I am all enthusiastic about the effort, I'm not sure about whats going on there.
As for enrolling 5 members, you need to see the struggle I'm going through with all my shooting enthu, with all friends and family.. so thats not happening for now at least.
If my own enthu counts, great!

Hi Abrar,
As per my knowledge there is nothing to do with Arms License, you can join NRAI , DSRA or any other Rifle association. for enrolling into any Rifle association the arms license is not required. Even i am also trying to join the NRAI Membership.
Regards
Jasper
