Hi my fellow IFGians,

This weekend, I had gone to Rameshwaram, and tried my hand at beach fishing. Landed a few catfish and a couple of croakers. You can see the photos below -

ever fished the vandiyur lake or the vaigai stretch before sholavandan?

We caught a couple of big cat fish, and the largest one was about a foot long.. thats all..

@marthandan -

I am a total newbie at fishing and have never tried vandiyur lake or vaigai near sholavandan... :oops:
Iused shrimp as bait in a fish finder rig.

@mark -

if only the fish caught are as big as the tales they tell.. :evil:
presume not bad for the 1st attempt at beach fishing... :D
