I am sorry but I don't care for it. You should have left the knife to age naturally with use.

Are you related to Moin?

It looks like glitter on the blade.

+1 Mack's comment.

1. NO I am not related to moin (unfortunately).
2. Its glittery cause of sunlight and my shoddy photography.
3. Wanted camoflauge paint on my knife.

Poor Moin .... ROTFL ROTFL ROTFL

Knifejunkie, why don't you try painting the white portions green with spray paint. I am not sure how it will take shape but since you have already gone ahead with your decision to paint the old blade there is no harm in giving another shot. Just a suggestion.

Cheers

TC

Its a good effort.
But instead of flowers, may i suggest coating it a flat grey and then wrapping barb wire around the blade and spraying it with black paint! The effect looks quite nice.
If this blade is to be used, one would suggest a plain blued blade or a flat black annealing.

Lolzzz, how did I miss this thread.. Don't listen to Mack, he's being his usual nasty self, ... why paint black and white, not even a camouflage.. Why not strip the blade coating and polish.. Will look sexy on the SOG Daggerr.....

knifejunkie,

I would no more want camouflage on a knife than I would want it on a hammer or any other tool, for that matter. It looked better earlier.
