My conservative Bangla Babu mentality usually comes through.
Now this is a confession I can relate to all day... But nice choice of knife I must say XL

XL_T: Check this CDPH v/s Gunny video -
Later in the video he comments on how his heavier G10 handled CDPH feels shorter than his lighter wood handled CDPH, even though both handles have the same contours and size. It has nothing to do with the handle material or weight. See the fourth post from the top for the explanation. http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php ... 3&start=15

Re: BRK Gunny.
Mack, may I ask after all these years of buying and using hundreds of knives, why did you zero in on BRKT's. Why not get a custom knife maker in the US to do a blade exactly as per your requirements. After all you know exactly what you want in a knife.

Moin, I haven't zero'd in on BRKT. I have zero'd in on the convex grind and I am not turning back.
As for going the custom route, I have never really given it much thought. It's one thing to design a knife on paper or CAD but quite another to feel it in your hand and go, "hmmm...perhaps I should have done this or I should have done that". Even experienced guys like Mike S, need to make a few prototypes before they are satisfied enough to put a knife into production. And even then, they may keep tweaking the design over the years.

Not so. I consider myself a neophyte on the subject. After all you know exactly what you want in a knife.
