Magtech 0.32 ACP Ammo
Sirs, Madams,
I have an IOF 0.32 revolver, will it be safe to shoot Magtech 0.32 ACP from it.
Magtech has 65 grains load/ 992 fps (muzzle vel) while IOF (KF) has 775 - 800 fps muzzle velocity.
Please advice, planning to buy more ammo.
Also, if not magtech which other imported ammo will suit.
Cheers..

I am also a novice,
But I dont think , 0.32 ACP ammo is suitabtable to a revolver in that caliber.
Correct me if I am wrong.
Regards.

The IOF revolver uses .32 S&W Long cartridges which are NOT the same as .32ACP.
The IOF Ashani uses the .32 ACP cartridge.

Hi all,
.32acp shoots well in .32s&w long cal. Revolver, but there will be a ejection problem with the empty shells.
I had tried it ones.

The maximum pressure for the .32 ACP is 50% higher than that of the .32 S&W Long. Proof loads are only 30% higher.thegunner wrote:Hi all,

So, you are recommending that people use ammunition in their guns the pressure of which exceeds proof loads by a considerable margin. Will you be responsible if people following your advice blow up their guns and injure themselves and bystanders?
I doubt it. Feel free to pull stunts that yourself, but refrain from promoting them on this forum. "Jackass" episodes have no place here, we are trying to promote SAFE gun handling.

+1 on your comment, Two Rivers. Using 32 ACP in the revolver is a very poor idea and NOT recommended for any IFG member to try -- or anyone else, for that matter.TwoRivers wrote:The maximum pressure for the .32 ACP is 50% higher than that of the .32 S&W Long. Re: Magtech 0.32 ACP Ammo
Respected mods & members,
I am not encouraging anybody to try this.
I had tried it only once & got it, that it won't work. & never tried it again.
That's y I said it creates ejection problem.
After reading 'tworivers' post I understand the reason behind the ejection problem.
Maybe my revolver won't go blown because it was a colt .32 H&R magnum.
Still I regret............. for all that.
