I am going to purchase a new .22 IOF Revolver. I need a good quality Grips for the same. Can any body guide me the source ?

Sir if i may ask u belong to which part of india???and most of the gun dealers have good grips available with them search within your gen area sir n u ll get dem

I am located in Rajahmundry of Andhra Pradesh in India. I have enquired with all Gun dealers in Hyderabad, but they do not have for .22 calibre IOF Revolver. If you know any source across india, Please suggest

Hey Ramanarao GSSV,

Have you enquired about the quality of the IOF .22 revolver ? I have read bad things about it , some even suggesting to go for a .32 instead.

IIRC the IOF .22 revolver is based on a S&W design, if the dimensions are the same as the original Smith & Wesson you may be able to fit a grip designed to fit the S&W model that they copied... just an idea, please do verify the dimensions prior to spending your money!

Thank you Abhijeetji, I will check with some of S&W Revolvers. I verified in S&W site, there is a model No.517 Airlight version in .22 cal made with Aluminium like our IOF .22 Revolver. The out look of the hammer is also similar but this version is with sub nosed barrel and a small grip.
