friends need advice
I want to buy small knife with sheath for EDC purpose . when i was searching Aliexpress i came in touch with shilpi handcrafts whose owner Bhagwati Laa Parihar sent these quotations. I liked these knives but seams pricey . All r 1500 INR with shipping charges. i just wanted to know the price is worthy or not.All r damascus steel knives .

Hello Navi;
These are for display purpose only. You will struggle to put a decent edge on one. 1500 though including shipping is not at all bad.
If you want a decent blade for EDC and use check out Victorinox Sentinel, would be around INR 1500 in any of the base camp stores.

thanks Moin
i already have a victorinox knife. I need a knife with thick blade but small size to carry in my bag fr my field work. I am not worried of any police as i am govt officer, but at same time cannot carry expensive knives as it will attract anti-corruption's attention.(even my victorinox stays at home)
Also why it is so difficult to find a good knife manufacturer in India. When i saw Alibaba website , there r 100s of damascus steel manufacturers in Pakistan but only hand full in India .
Finally want ur opinion about tha Aliexpress website & the knife below

Hi Navi; This is a website for chinese knock off's. If you are constrained with the price, instead of this fancy blade which will attract unwarrented attention please buy those Chinese Multitools with the folding plyers etc for 500,600 instead of this, atleast they will serve the purpose. Or why don't you get your local blacksmiths to do up a nice small functional fixed blade for you.nav1558 wrote:thanks Moin
