Dear Arien,
All calibers are allowed and they use the same cartridges. Only one size cartridges comes in replica. I will not advice the NRI to bring the replica. If you want to buy please buy from gun dealer.

Re: Dummy or replica pistols
Navi I am from Chandigarh and I recently got a replica for 357 colt revolver. Uses .177 pellet with similar weight and single and double action trigger. The pellets are readily available for 350 to 500. I called Vishal gun gun to inquire on the 12 grm co2 cartridge and was told Rs350 for a single cart. too expensive its available for 100 max 150 in Delhi.
thank god I got he 25 cart pack with the revolver .. feel free to ask any questions.. I did an extensive research before buying mine

Re: Dummy or replica pistols
Dear Hammer,
You are getting confused with Air Pistils and dummy replica. Air Pistol of .177 Caliber are with CO2 and relpica just fire and same sound comes out. Replica fires and proper cartridge comes out and there is no lead in front of cartridges. These replicas are normally used for movies but they are also in the market.

Except our young magician all are past NCC age and NCC does not even regularly arrange shooting. yes, they will let you carry rifles and do long parades till your limbs sags.

Dummy guns can cause issues and should never be carried around for safety or as a deterrence could lead to risky situationhardeepsinghbedi wrote:Dear Tiwari,
You are exactly right. If police finds anyone with dummy pistol there will be a problem.

Re: Dummy or replica pistols
sorry for the late reply guys. "magicianrajesh" sorry was not able to reply to ur PM as - couldn't find the reply button. I bought this from america, and came in the checked in bag. its a replica of colt 357 and fires 0177 pellets. I prefer the wadcutters they are more accurate. it also has a rifled barred and I am very happy with it. I will post a video prob end of the month.
