Nice pics Amit. Could you tell us what is the last weapon, the scoped one? Looks like a semi auto.

Remington 870 Pump Action (Repeater) very reliable in hunting , bottom one AR semi-auto, model could be any ABC, not sure what they call in States and the old man ....... The one you don't mess with EVER, I mean we met him, very nice guy and knowledgeable - Haji

Haji, are you sure the semi auto is an AR derivative ? The coking handle appears to be fitted to the bolt and the butt, from whatever I can make from the picture, resembles a FAL derivative. Cant make out.

Thanks Haji... I'll pass on the compliments to dad!!

Yes it is... Love my 870.

The AR style gun is a Mossberg Tactical (715T). It's a .22 that dad and I love to plink with. I recently put a scope on it, so we were just zeroing it in. I'm falling in love with it too... didn't think I would say that for any .22 :) Not only coz it looks and handles great, but it shoots deadly accurate. It was awesome shooting at beer cans about 75 yards away!!

Cheers,
Amit

Dear Amit.
Lovely snaps.
Your Chukars look a lot like a game bird found along the Himalayas. Pronounced as "Chaakore".
Were these birds taken from India by any chance?

And they are!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chukar_Partridge
Distribution and habitat

This partridge has its native range in Asia, from Israel and Turkey through Afghanistan to India, along the inner ranges of the Western Himalayas to Nepal. Further west in southeastern Europe it is replaced by the Red-legged Partridge, Alectoris rufa. It barely ranges into Africa on the Sinai Peninsula. The habitat in the native range is rocky open hillsides with grass or scattered scrub or cultivation. In Israel and Jordan it is found at low altitudes, starting at 400 metres below sea level in the Dead Sea area, whereas in the more eastern areas it is mainly found at an altitude of 2000 to 4000 m except in Pakistan, where it occurs at 600m.[2][7] They are not found in areas of high humidity or rainfall.[8]
It has been introduced widely as a game bird, and feral populations have become established in the United States Rocky Mountains, Great Basin, high desert areas of California, Canada, New Zealand and Hawaii. Initial introductions into the US were from the nominate populations collected from Afghanistan and Nepal.[9] It has also been introduced to New South Wales in Australia but breeding populations have not persisted and are probably extinct.[10] A small population exists on Robben Island in South Africa since it was introduced there in 1964. Great photos Amit, it looks like you guys had a lot of fun.
Glad that the Mossberg is working well for you guys.
Shooting .22 LR can be a lot of fun and surprisingly challenging. Best of all it is cheap!
My regards to your parents.
