Re: Request for CZ 452 Scout Price in hyd india
The CZ 452 Scout is made for younger shooters. It has a reduced length of pull (12 inches), lighter weight and overall shorter dimensions.
It comes with a single round loading device but it can also use regular five and ten round CZ 452 magazines.
In the US, the MSRP is $303. I just played with one today at the store. Nice little rifle! Just remember that if you do get it and want to scope it, it has 11 mm grooves on the receiver.
I have no idea what they go for in India.

Re: Request for CZ 452 Scout Price in hyd india
Thanks once again freind for your advice i want to decide on getting the cz .22 either scout or model 2... same time i was looking for similar size barrel where it should not be long barrel and performance to be higher similar to cz 452 lux ...
One question do you think that cz 452 scout performance on 100 to 200 yards will have less than other models of cz / brno model.
i like cz 452 scout due to its low weight and size compact easy to carry in car and travelling but the price what mention to me is RS 5lakhs
any other similar model please advice thanks & regards to all forum viewers for their valuable time and advice

Re: Request for CZ 452 Scout Price in hyd india
Let me state, first of all, I do not own a CZ Scout and have not shot one. I have shot the regular CZ 452 though and it is certainly a nice rifle.
A .22 LR round pretty much burns all its powder up in a 16 inch barrel. You are not going to get much more velocity out of a longer barrel.
As far as shooting out to 100 yards and 200 yards, you can try... but there are many factors affecting a .22 LR bullet when you get out that far. It's not that a .22 LR bullet won't reach out that far; it will but the accuracy will leave a lot to be desired. With a rifle zeroed in at 50 yards you are looking at a foot or more drop at 100 yards. After that, as the bullet loses more velocity, it drops like a rock. If you are serious about shooting at those distances regularly, there are other cartridges capable of doing that better. To answer your question, I don't believe the Scout will perform worse than any other .22 LR sporting rifle at those distances.
As far as performance goes, from what I have read, the scout can be just as accurate as the longer barreled, regular sized CZ452. The short barrel of the Scout is really not going to give you much of a disadvantage.
The average American tends to be a lot bigger than average sized people from other countries, so many of them will have problems with the short length of pull on this rifle. When I picked it up and shouldered it, it seemed that I could each the trigger just fine. Of course, actually shooting it in different positions would give one a better idea.
Other companies have made youth sized rifles. As to what else would be available in India, I really couldn't answer to that.
The Crickett single shot .22 LR rifles are quite a bit smaller than the Scout
The Henry Lever action youth .22 LR rifles are beautiful
Marlin makes the model 915Y youth rifle
The H&R Handi-rifle is also made in a youth model.
Savage makes the Rascal .22 LR youth rifle.
Savage also makes a MKIGY single shot youth rifle.
The Rascal and the Crickett are true kids rifles. Everything about them is downsized, whereas many of the other rifles merely have shortened stocks and barrels.
