Just ordered from Knifecenter-

Thanks a lot to IFG members. For getting me the confidence to order via knifecenter.

let me introduce myself, The name is Anand Pathanjali from Banglore. i work with Greenpeace. Well i got my fixation for swords from an Anime named Samurai X. I got my first reversed blade katana ( stainless steel blade-show piece) shipped from the US 2 years back.. i did go through a lot of trouble and with the help of some influence i got it finally.

Then couple of months back i picked up a Muela hunting knife from the basecamp store in chennai. After that i got the crazy itch for getting more and more. started browsing this forums , learnt a lot of things here and there. then i came across this importing knives from knifecentre thread.. that gave me a huge boost, that i just place an order for a 1. Cold steel bushman, 2. Cold steel Double agent Kerambit and 3. a set of throwing stars . the sad part was i wasnt given an option at all to ship via FedEx but today morning got a mail alert saying it was shipped via DHL priority.
Let hopes its reaches safe

hey could u tell me how you have ordered

well, its was ordered from knifecentre.com, , added to my shopping cart, checkout using international gateway, select india. all the prices came up in INR, prepaid custom duties and taxes . select economy or priority shipping. pay via credit or ppaypal.

look at the timing man and its just dhl economy(prepaid taxes) i dont know may be u would have already recieved ur package by now ,iam going to get it tomorrow for sure .

I think what happens is just what I feared, Knifecenter cancelled the order and wants you to make a western union or wire transfer.
