details required for arms license at west bengal

Hi frnds...
i'm a doctor by profession and practicing at majdia a place near indo-bangladesh border... so i feel a bit insecire going for my prsctise there so i want an arm license to buy a pistol or revolver... i want to know some infos abt arm licence like eligibilty incl age etc, where to apply or submit the form, the licensing authorities in west bengal, and guidelines to fill up the form in west bengal.....i will be vry thankful if any of my IFG frnds can provide me with the infos .. thank u... pls rply ASAP

I got my Arms License form from the District Magistrate's office . I have been told to submit the duly filled forms at the District Magistrate's office .
